George Benson SignatureThe name George Benson is nothing short of legendary amongst jazz aficionados, with 10 Grammy’s to his name and a career spanning 60+ years, it’s fair to say George knows a thing or two about writing classic memorable songs. A long time fan of Ibanez guitars, George’s signature line has proved popular amongst fans and players alike since its inception.
The LGB30 features a single cutaway, full hollow body design with a spruce top with ƒ holes and multi-layer binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in 3-piece maple/nyatoh neck with a large headstock and a 20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with binding and acrylic and abalone block position markers. Components include dual, Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, a Gibraltar Artist bridge with a LGB30 tailpiece, and a gold hardware.

Super 58 Humbucking Pickups
'razor-sharp precision'Ibanez kitted the LGB30 out with a pair of Super 58 humbuckers. These pickups are securely mounted directly to the body under the pickguard and deliver smooth, nuanced tones along with a crisp, biting growl.
Bursting-full of clean response and clear articulation, this opens the doorway for you to perform fast melodies and complex chord progressions with razor-sharp precision.
