Alongside its sapele back and sides, the ALT30FM-EDB sports a stunning flame maple top which not only looks great, but increases harmonic richness, offering a well rounded sound. Also included is a walnut bridge that transfers string vibration directly to the body, creating a natural and warm tone.
The super comfortable Altstar body shape serves up a wonderful midrange-rich voice which sits beautifully in any mix scenario. In short, Ibanez’s ALT30FM-EDB packs serious tone and performance which stands head and shoulders above its peers, whilst looking great at the same time.

Altstar Body Style
Incredible sound & playabilityThe Ibanez ALT30FM-EDB combines great acoustic sound but with the easy playability of an electric. The tone comes from the single-cut Altstar body shape whilst the comfort grip maple neck allows you to play virtually anything with ease.
Ibanez included an AEQ-2UT preamp that provides great, natural tone when plugged in and played through a PA. The tone can be shaped using the integrated bass and treble controls. This preamp also features an onboard tuner which comes in very handy mid-gig.

Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
