'Sweet and Soulful Semi-Hollow'The Gibson ES-335 DOT is the cornerstone of the Gibson ES line-up. From its first appearance in 1958, the Gibson ES-335 set an unmatched standard. The pearloid dot inlay rosewood fingerboard on a hand-rolled Rounded "C" mahogany neck remind players where it all began.
Gibson's Calibrated T-Type humbucking pickups are paired with Gibson's hand-wired control assembly. The result is a versatile Gibson ES tone that players have craved for over 60 years. Tuning stability and precise intonation are provided by the Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, together with light weight Aluminum ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, anchored by steel thumb-wheels and tailpiece studs. A hardshell case is also included.

This is a hugely versatile guitar that has quite rightly managed to stand the test of time, from gentle fingerpicked passages, through to screaming rock n roll solos, the ES-335 can do it all.
Where this guitar really shines however, is when tasked with smooth overdriven tones, the ES-335 is utterly perfect for blues and jazz styles. The pickups Gibson included here are the perfect choice; Calibrated T-Type, Rhythm neck pickup and Calibrated T-Type, Lead in the bridge position. Offering the best of vintage tone, oozing in warmth, punch and bite.

Also featured is a comfortable rounded ‘C’ profile neck, this neck profiling offers maximum comfort and playability, whilst ensuring unhindered movement from the top to the bottom of the neck.
