Product Overview

GameMax Sigma 540 Black ARGB CPU Cooler

The Sigma 540 ARGB Air CPU cooler from GameMax is a new and redefined CPU Air cooler which offers a superb cooling performance of 200W TDP and a virtually silent operation, the Sigma is perfect for overclocked systems and the most demanding workstations.

The small upgrades that we have made to the Sigma 540 raises the bar and takes the performance to the highest level when it comes to four heat-pipe CPU coolers.

The four 6-millimeter-thick high-performance heat-pipes with a nickel-plated finish are closely fitted between the radiator and CPU, absorbs the heat directly from the processor. The design of the heatsink is made with a larger surface area compared to other GameMax models this is one of the latest innovations used on the Sigma to provide a stronger and improved thermal dissipation. Overall, the Sigma provides the precise combination of air flow and heatsink.

The aluminium top cover with the GameMax brand logo stamped on adds a sleek look to this innovative, refined and sophisticated CPU cooler.

Includes a 130mm ARGB fan with PWM functionality and featuring nine fan blades and a durable fluid dynamic bearing motor. With a strong airflow of 81.0 CFM and even with its very good cooling capacity of 200 Watts TDP, the fan is a quiet one with the noise level going as low as 18 dBA.

Upgraded metal mounting kits ensure a simple and safe installation with support for the latest Intel & AMD mainstream platforms.

Features

Top Performing CPU: - The Sigma 540 ARGB is a high-performance CPU cooler built with an impressive rating of 200W TDP and with no compromise on silence or performance for overclocked systems and the most demanding graphics applications. Efficiently dissipating 200W of heat achieves low temperatures even when the CPU is at the top of its game.
130mm PWM ARGB Fan Included: - One unique 130mm ARGB cooling fan is included with a nine-fin fan design delivering huge airflow potential at 81.0 CFM at 1600 RPM and the noise level going as low as 18 dBA for an ultra-silent cooling performance. Adjust fan speeds to accommodate the demands of your system.
Motherboard Software: - The ARGB lighting effects can be synced through the Motherboard which supports ARGB function, 5V 3-Pin Addressable RGB header, including ASUS AURA, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte Fusion 2.0 & ASRock. Customise the look with endless possibilities with 16.7 million static modes and 12 pre-set lighting effects.
Anti-Vibration Pads: - The 130mm cooling fan is equipped with anti-vibration pads that effectively reduce the vibration and noise generated by the radiator during operation.
4 x 6mm Heat Pipes: - Including 4 x 6mm direct contact heat pipes made of copper to accelerate the heat conduction through the entire heat pipes. This guarantees heat to be transferred quickly and efficiently throughout the aluminium heatsink.
Aluminium Heatsink: - The heatsink is made using 56 pieces of aluminium fins and built with optimised fin stacked distance between each layer. It equates to 6600cm squared thermal surface area which compared to its predecessors is a 30 percent increase providing a stronger heat dissipation.
Black Design: - The GameMax Sigma 540 ARGB black is black from top to bottom, featuring a black coated heatsink, black anti-vibration pads and touch of ARGB. It's right at home in all-black builds and easy to integrate with other colour schemes.
Intel Compatibility: - Capable of handling intel high-end CPUs (Intel 13th Gen) Intel Socket LGA115X Intel LGA1200 / Intel LGA1700.
AMD Compatibility: - Capable of handling AMD high-end CPUs (AM5) AMD Socket AM4 / AM5.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
