Fender’s new Pro II series has breathed new life into Strat, whilst remaining true to all the elements which have made the Strat the beloved icon it is today.
This Limited Edition American Professional II Stratocaster takes full inspiration from over 60 years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet and even surpass the demands of the modern player whilst adding some slightly different features.
Fender’s ever popular Deep ‘C’ neck now features super-smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish and a newly designed sculpted neck heel for a magnificently comfortable feel and simple access to the upper registers. A unique feature to the limited edition is the ‘Custom Shop Fat '50s’ Stratocaster single-coil pickups to deliver vintage character whilst maintaining articulation and retaining that inimitable bell-like chime and warmth that can only come from the Stratocaster. Also included with American Pro II series is an upgraded 2-point tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block to increase sustain, clarity and that high-end sparkle.

The Inimitable Sound Of A Stratocaster
Custom Shop Fat '50s pickupsFender’s Custom Shop Fat '50s single coil pickups add a new flavour to the American Professional Stratocaster series. The Fender Fat '50s Strat Pickup Set gives you calibrated pickups constructed with hand-beveled, staggered Alnico V magnets and Formvar magnet wire to provide enhanced bass response without the harsh midrange. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in positions 2 and 4.
Another rather welcome addition is the introduction of ‘Push/Push’ electronics to broaden the guitars voicing capabilities, now you’re able to add the neck pickup to switch position 1 for a more Tele-style configuration. It’s details like this which set the American Professional II series apart from a more traditional Strat.
Re-Designed TremoloThe classic 2-point tremolo is a staple on the classic Strat models, favoured for its smooth bar action and stability. The American Pro II Stratocaster features a new upgraded version of this traditional design, sporting a cold-rolled steel block to boost sustain, clarity and high-end chime.

ELECTRONICSA performance friendly push-push switch on the second tone control activates the neck pickup in switch positions one and two, adding two unique pickup configurations not normally found on a Strat.
