Made in Japan Artist seriesRichie Kotzen is a world-class american guitarist that gained a great reputation through his many years of incredible work with several bands and has created his own style of playing soul, funk, pop, rock and metal. To accommodate for this unique style of playing, Richie needed a guitar special enough to go with it, which is why in Japan you have been able to buy the incredible Richie Kotzen Stratocaster signature model. This guitar isnt often available outside of Japan until now, exlusively from Fender.
Made from a lightweight ash body with a stunning flame maple top, this guitar produces a rich and balanced tone. The maple neck features a thicker profile than any usual Fender neck, this was demanded by Richie Kotzen as it provides for a nice and comfortable grip.
A versatile set of pickups were an absolute must for this guitar so Fender included a trio of DiMarzio custom single-coil pickups, suitable for a variety of styles including rock, metal, soul and pop.
