Classic Dreadnought Styling
time-tested designBased around one of the most popular acoustic body shapes, the classic dreadnought, Fender’s CD-60S is a near-perfect all-rounded and is ideal for pretty much any style or genre. The wide range of tones from the CD-60S ensure it’s the ideal partner for singer-songwriters, but is equally at home in a band setting too!
Remaining true to the time-tested designs of the classic dreadnoughts, Fender chose mahogany for the CD-60S top, mainly due to its rich resonance and sustain. Inside the CD-60S, you’ll find scalloped ‘X’ style bracing, which makes for a tough build, but whilst also enhancing the overall tone, sustain and resonance of the CD-60S.
Quality Fender Hardware
chrome die-cast machine headsFender included a Crème Plastic nut to hold the strings firmly in place and limit string bending, alongside 6 chrome die-cast machine heads too upon the headstock to deliver steady, secure and precision tuning.
Further down the body, you’ll find a walnut bridge which helps in offering highly efficient transfer of string energy to the highly resonant mahogany body. Everything across the CD-60S is included to make this the perfect platform for the beginner guitarist to begin their musical journey!
