Versatile Sonic Power
‘Greasebucket’ master tone circuitFender outfitted the American Performer Jazzmaster series with Yosemite's single-coil pickups in each position. It’s all here, from bell-like highs to singing leads, these pickups deliver on all fronts!
This versatile sonic power is controlled via a classic 3-position pickup selector. The bridge tone pot activates the ‘Greasebucket’ master tone circuit, this cuts the high end, but never reduces gain. A seriously cool feature to see on a Jazzmaster
Classic Fender Hardware
vintage-style tremoloThe electronics on the American Performer series will hold a very strong appeal to the modern guitarist, however the included hardware is going to be very familiar to traditional Fender fanatics. Featuring a 6-screw vintage-style tremolo, this trem system allows you to add everything from a gentle warble, right through to hardcore EVH-style divebombs!
Further up the neck, you’ll find Fender’s ClassicGear machine heads, each of which serve up a highly responsive and smooth feel for accurate and importantly, reliable tuning.
