'A High-Performance SG With Modern Features'The Epiphone Prophecy SG brings high-performance features to the classic SG™ design, making it an excellent choice for today's progressive guitarists. The mahogany body is topped with a 3/4" maple cap and beautiful AAA flame maple veneer on select colors, along with a thinner Aged Vintage Gloss finish. The SlimTaper™ asymmetrical mahogany neck features a 24 fret ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets, Block and Triangle pearloid/abalone inlays with abalone selected to complement the body color, brushed nickel Grover® Locking Rotomatic® tuners, and a black Graph Tech® NuBone® nut.
The Epiphone Prophecy SG comes with brushed nickel hardware and is equipped with a pair of proprietary Fishman Fluence® pickups with three voicing options that are selected with the push/pull master volume and tone controls - high gain, modern active high-output humbucker™ with both controls pushed in, classic Patent Applied For-style humbucker when the tone control is pulled out, and shimmering, optimized single-coil tones when the volume control is pulled out. A premium gig bag is also included.

versatile high-output pickupsSome of the most iconic electric guitar tones can now be yours upon picking up the SG Prophecy thanks to the dual multi-voice Fishman Fluence humbuckers. Just hit the push/pull volume and tone pots and choose from one of three selectable unique voices!
The Fishman Fluence pickups serve up a rich sound, quite reminiscent of PAF pickups from yesteryear with traditional dynamics and output. Take these humbuckers into red-hot metal territory, or choose to use them as single-coils free from unwanted noise and hum!

The neck features a 12” radius ebony fingerboard which hosts 24 jumbo frets and offers rapid playability. The addition of a contoured heel helps in gaining access to the higher registers too. The playability on offer with the Prophecy SG really is something to behold!

Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
