The EK-Quantum Vector³ Master RTX 5090 - Plexi is a high-end full-coverage liquid cooling block designed specifically for the Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 MASTER and Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING OC graphics cards. Engineered to replace the stock air cooler entirely, this water block offers superior thermal performance by directing coolant over the GPU core, VRAM and power delivery circuitry, helping maintain lower operating temperatures under heavy gaming, rendering or overclocked workloads. The block features an advanced Vector³ next-generation cooling engine with an optimised fin array and precision coolant paths to ensure uniform coolant distribution and low hydraulic restriction. Built from premium materials including a nickel-plated electrolytic copper coldplate and a CNC-machined Plexi top that showcases coolant flow and integrated lighting, it also includes a black anodised aluminium full-coverage backplate that assists passive cooling of PCB hotspots while reinforcing structural rigidity. Dual G1/4" threaded ports provide standard loop connectivity for custom liquid cooling systems, and integrated addressable D-RGB lighting along the block edges is compatible with mainstream motherboard RGB sync technologies.
Next-Gen Cooling Engine
At the heart of the Vector³ Master water block is an enhanced cooling engine featuring an expanded fin array and precision-optimised coolant flow paths. This design ensures uniform coolant distribution with minimal flow restriction across the entire coldplate surface, enabling efficient transfer of heat from the GPU core, memory and VRM components even under demanding thermal loads. Compatibility with both high-flow and low-speed pump setups makes the block suitable for a range of custom loop configurations.
Premium Materials and Construction
Performance and durability are supported by premium build materials, including a nickel-plated electrolytic copper coldplate for maximised thermal conductivity and a CNC-machined Plexi top that offers a crystal-clear view of coolant movement and lighting effects. High-quality O-rings and an advanced gasket system improve seal reliability and reduce the risk of particulate build-up within the cooling engine, helping preserve long-term performance.
Integrated Backplate and Support
An included black anodised aluminium full-coverage backplate not only enhances the block’s visual appeal but also increases the effective cooling surface for PCB hotspots such as VRAM and power circuitry sections. Its L-shaped profile fully encloses the GPU area for a unified aesthetic while adding rigidity to the card’s structure, with captive screws pre-installed for precise alignment during installation.
Loop Integration with G1/4" Ports and EK-Matrix7
Dual G1/4" threaded ports provide standard connections for liquid cooling loops, ensuring broad compatibility with fittings, quick-disconnects and other loop components. The block adheres to the EK-Matrix7 standard, aligning port locations and spacing to simplify tube routing and overall loop planning when used with distribution plates such as the EK-Quantum Reflection², regardless of GPU mounting orientation.
Addressable D-RGB Lighting
Addressable D-RGB lighting is integrated along the longest edges of both the block and backplate, offering uniform illumination compatible with popular motherboard RGB sync technologies. A 3-pin 5 V digital LED header enables customisable lighting effects, enhancing the visual presence of high-end builds.
Important Notes:
1) Due to an immense variety of fittings/barbs available on the market and no prescribed standards, EK guarantee compatibility only for connectors from themselves.
2) Factory backplates are not compatible with this water block!
3) This product should NOT be installed with any aluminium Fluid Gaming parts!
4) The use of specifically engineered coolants that contain corrosion, scale, and biological inhibitors is mandatory to prevent damage to your nickel-plated water block.
5) This product is compatible with EK-Quantum Scalar² Terminals, but will no longer be Matrix7 compatible if stock terminal is replaced.
6) To leak test the EK-Quantum Vector³ water block, EK recommends 0.6 (+/-0.05) bars of pressure for 2 minutes.
