Featuring an improved, larger cooling engine, higher-performance thermal pads, and a new gasket design for better reliability and aesthetics, this water block ensures exceptional cooling efficiency, even under extreme workloads.

Enhanced Cooling Engine

The revised cooling structure of the Vector³ ROG Astral 5080 prioritises heat transfer with an expanded fin array and more efficient coolant flow paths. It actively cools the GPU core, VRAM, power stages, and passively cools PCB hotspots through the included backplate.

Included Full-Coverage Backplate

Every Vector³ Astral RTX 5080 water block includes an L-shaped backplate profile, seamlessly enclosing the GPU for a clean, unified look while adding an additional layer of thermal efficiency. It's designed to:
• Passively cool PCB hotspots, including VRAM, core, and VRM sections.
• Provide a sleek, modern look with its black anodised aluminum finish.
• Simplify installation with pre-installed captive backplate screws, eliminating guesswork.

EK-Matrix7 Support – For Perfect Loop Planning

Whether the GPU is mounted vertically or horizontally, Matrix7 ensures a hassle-free, precise build, the EK-Quantum Vector³ Astral RTX 5080 follows EK-Matrix7, a standard that simplifies liquid cooling loop assembly by aligning ports and spacing components for intuitive tube routing. It ensures straighforward tube bending and loop planning, meaning less time spent measuring and adjusting.

Addressable D-RGB Compatibility

Addressable D-RGB LED lighting is deployed on the longest edge of both top and backside water blocks for improved uniformity and brightness. The PCB and diodes are concealed inside a clean aluminum extrusion. The individually addressable RGB LED is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies, including ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light & ASRock Polychrome Sync. The arrow marking on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header (Pinout: +5V | Data | Blocked | Ground).

Important Notes Before Buying

• This is not compatible with the OG version.
• Due to an immense variety of fittings/barbs available on the market and no prescribed standards, EKWB guarantee compatibility only for connectors bought from their ranges.
• Factory backplates are not compatible with this water block.
• This product should NOT be installed with any aluminum Fluid Gaming parts.
• The use of specifically engineered coolants that contain corrosion, scale, and biological inhibitors is mandatory to prevent damage to your nickel-plated water block.
• Only compatible with Active Backplate in a Nickel + Plexi finish due to D-RGB implementation.
• This product is compatible with EK-Quantum Scalar² Terminals, but no longer Matrix7 Compatible if stock terminal is replaced.
• To leak test the EK-Quantum Vector³ water block, EK recommends 0.6 (+/-0.05) bars of pressure for 2 minutes.
