Product Overview

EK-Quantum Torque Micro Extender Static MF 7 - Black is a premium small-diameter male+female threaded extender. It is commonly used to extend a G1/4" port from a block, radiator, or any other liquid-cooling component in order to ease the process of connecting to other components and having fewer bends or inaccessible fittings at tight places. This extender is especially useful in situations where the port spacing is too low, or due to clearance issues. This is not a revolvable extender.
Made from CNC machined brass with a Satin Black finish. Sealed with quality EPDM O-rings.
EK-Quantum Torque series products received the prestigious iF Design Award. A robust and industrial aesthetic sets the Torque family apart by highlighting the precise manufacturing processes used to create them. In addition, enthusiasts can add a unique colour ring to give a personal accent to the fitting line. The Torque family of fittings offers a secure and modular system of connections between liquid cooling components and tubing within a PC. Quantum Torque series products cover angled adapters, rotary and static extenders, splitters, G1/4" plugs, drain valves, fittings, and much more.

*Please Note: This product should NOT be installed with any aluminum Fluid Gaming parts!*

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
