Versatile, powerful and precise – exactly as they should beMonitoring in an untreated room can never be considered ideal. Fortunately, Dynaudio’s ‘LYD’ series is here to make accurate, clean sound for the home or project studio a reality. Dual 50-watt power amps power a thumping 8” driver and smooth soft-dome tweeter for precise audio reproduction. Dynaudio also included 3 handy switches to ensure it’s quick and easy to find the best sound to suit your room.
Firstly, a Position switch filters reflective interference when in place within 20” of a wall. Next up, a ‘Sound Balance’ selector increases or limits brightness dependent on the characteristics of your room – perfect for switching between rooms with treated and bare walls. Lastly, is a 3-way ‘Bass Extension’ switch to give you control of your Dynaudio LYD-8’s low end in 10Hz increments.
Adam Hall SKDB 039 Speaker StandsThis universal studio monitor stand consists of 35/40 mm black powder-coated tubes and holds speakers weighing up to 35 kg. The height is adjustable in 12 cm increments, while a T-screw and a locking pin ensure increased safety. The standing space required measures 230 x 230 mm and also provides space for your monitor speakers. The stand’s upper tube is fitted with a plastic clip for discreet cable guidance. The triangular foot can be fitted with three adjustable plastic feet or with steel spikes. Removing the stand’s shelf allows the stand to be used with any speaker in combination with a 36 mm standard flange.
