Fortunately, Dynaudio’s ‘LYD’ series is here to make accurate, clean sound for the home or project studio a reality. Dual 50-watt power amps power a punching 5” driver and smooth soft-dome tweeter for precise audio reproduction. Dynaudio also included 3 handy switches to ensure it’s quick and easy to find the best sound to suit your room.
Firstly, a Position switch filters reflective interference when in place within 20” of a wall. Next up, a ‘Sound Balance’ selector increases or limits brightness dependent on the characteristics of your room – perfect for switching between rooms with treated and bare walls. Lastly, is a 3-way ‘Bass Extension’ switch to give you control of your Dynaudio LYD-5’s low end in 10Hz increments.
