Magician E6 Robot ROS Mobile Platform
The Magician E6 Robot ROS Mobile Platform is a compact autonomous base engineered for use with the Dobot Magician E6 robotic arm. It transforms the arm into a mobile research or training unit, offering motion, navigation, and ROS-based control for education, R&D, and smart-factory simulation.
Mobility and Power
Measuring 52 × 52 × 35 cm and weighing 35 kg, the platform supports payloads up to 50 kg. Its independent suspended wheel system allows rotation on the spot, with a travel speed of 0.5 m/s for smooth movement in confined spaces. Powered by a 24 V system, it delivers 2 to 6 hours of operation per charge.
Navigation and Accuracy
Guided by LiDAR navigation, the mobile platform achieves a ranging distance of 20 m, ±5 cm navigation accuracy, and 5 mm parking accuracy, enabling precise path following and docking for repetitive or coordinated tasks.
ROS Control and Development
Built around the Robot Operating System (ROS), the platform also supports ROS 2 for advanced control, mapping, and secondary development. Its onboard computing offers at least 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, with connectivity options for industrial controllers and custom research projects.
