DBZ Guitars formed in 2008. A partnership between the former owner of Dean Guitars, Dean Zelinsky and owner of Diamond Amplification Jeff Diamant. The combination of Deans' flare for guitar design and Jeff Diamants' attention to detail and tone, produced some of the most exciting guitars seen for many years. The partnership ended in 2012 with Dean leaving to pursue his own private label guitars, leaving Jeff to continue with the brand now known as Diamond Guitars.
Limited quantities of these fantastic instruments came to the UK and in fact one member of the pro audio team here at Scan was the first to sell these guitars to the UK trade. We are excited to offer a small quantity of these original DBZ guitars at fantastic prices.
These instruments feature the original "v neck" profile that Dean Zelinsky was known for. Instantly comfortable in your hand, it lends itself to any style of player. Mahogany bodies are coupled to mahogany or maple necks depending on model. Rosewood fingerboards adorn all the guitars and the original headstock is not only unique but suits the instruments beautifully. (who wants to copy when you can lead) The pickups and electrics of these instruments are top notch quality with the hardware to match. Expect to be enjoying and playing these guitars in twenty years-time. It is true to say the three letter guitar companies make high quality, fantastic and playable instruments.
Like most of DBZ guitars, the BARCHETTA combines a classic style with a modern update. Beautiful enough to be classic, modern enough to be aggressive, the BARCHETTA has a wide variety of colors and configurations to go from casual, to black tie, to black t-shirt.
