Product Overview

Thermaltake CT120 EX ARGB Sync Hydrangea Blue 120mm Fan - Triple Pack

CT120 EX ARGB Sync Hydrangea Blue is a new model of the CT series incorporating the new MagForce 2.0 for a better, quicker magnetic connection among fans. This fan maintains the 2000 RPM fan speed and has broken through its series limit to provide even better cooling performance. Users can control its 9 addressable LEDs through motherboard sync software for spectacular lighting effects.

Steady Connection with MagForce 2.0

Evolved from SWAFAN EX’s Magnetic Force Design, the new MagForce 2.0 has the Pogo pin contact pads are TWO times larger for greater tolerance. This enhancement significantly reduces the potential faulty alignment no matter you are daisy-chaining fans together or connecting fans with cable, further boosting the installation efficiency and streamlining the building experience.

Say Goodbye to Excessive Cables

Connect your fans with CT EX’s MagForce 2.0 Quick Connect Design and be free from messy cables!

Remarkably Improved Performance

After extensive research and testing, the CT120 EX ARGB Sync White can generate 68 CFM of airflow and 2.95 mm-H2O static pressure while maintaining a 28.5 dBA noise level, pushing ARGB fans to their limits.

Solid Structure for Better Performance

The new CT Series fan frames are crafted to be steady and robust so the fan won’t deform easily. We have also modified the exterior design to allow the fans to fit the chassis or radiator even better, so there won’t be gaps for air to slip through.

A little Surprise for Extra Security

CT Series Fans are equipped with round anti-vibration rubber pads on each of the fan’s corners. They are designed to be stable and dampen the fan’s vibration, allowing the fans to spin at a higher speeds under certain noise levels.

Spectacular Lighting Effects

Featuring 9 addressable LEDs for users to build up spectacular lighting effects through motherboard sync software, providing great coverage of 16.8 million uniform colours. You can create stunning lighting effects through your motherboard software to customize your ideal lighting effects. The CT Series ARGB Fans now support ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, BIOSTAR, and ASROCK sync software.

Sync with Motherboard RGB Software

Designed to synchronize with ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome. It supports motherboards with a 5V addressable RGB header, allowing you to control the lights directly from the software mentioned above without installing any extra lighting software or controllers. For more details, please visit ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI, and ASRock official websites.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
