Product Overview The Hydro Series HGIO seamlessly pairs any Corsair Hydro Series CPU cooler (available separately) to your NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPC, while the integrated mounting bracket cools the main GPU processor without transferring heat onto other components. It reduces your GPO's temperature for more overclocking headroom, providing as much as 25% clock speed increase. The Included low-noise blower fan cools VRMs and VRAMs quietly and effectively. Once you've upgraded your GPU to liquid cooling, you'll never want to go back. The HGIO N980 is compatible with reference GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti, and Titan X (for a full compatibility list go to Corsair.com). Reviews
Corsair Series HG10 N980 Edition GPU Hydro Cooler Bracket, Pairs To Any Corsair Hydro CPU Cooler, 980, 980Ti, Titan X is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good core temps - not so good VRM temps I normally don't bother writing any reviews, but in this case I felt obligated because of all the negative reviews I read. So, on contrary to all those negative reviews, I think this bracket is very good considering how much it costs. Additionally, I had no issues when installing the bracket regarding the cooler not being securely attached or PCB bending (If I remember I'll attach some photos later - but the cooler was securely attached with absolutely no bend in the PCB). The combination of the HG10 N980 bracket and Corsair's H110 cooler was attached to both of my reference design 980 TIs. When running a few benchmarks the core temps never exceed 45 degrees, with all radiator fans around 20% (so there's barely any noise). However, the reason I haven't given this 5 stars is because the rest of the cooling on the card, for example VRM, is only cooled by the bracket. When I first started benchmarking the core was kept very cool (as mentioned above), but the bracket itself got very hot. I had no way of measuring the temperature, but it was almost too hot to touch. The only way to cool the bracket itself is though the supplied blower fan and due to the core temps being so low the blower fan was barely running (hence why the bracket got so hot). So using MSI Afterburner I increased the speed of the blower fan and could feel the bracket drop in temperature, but sadly this blower fan is spectacularly loud. I wanted to go for a quite water cooled build for a long time, but I never could justify the cost or effort of maintaining a custom loop - this is why I went for this combination of the N980 and H110. Overall I'm happy but I cannot help feel like it could have been a lot quieter under load if they had designed it with a few fin arrays around the blower fan so it could dissipate the heat of the VRMs more efficiently, this way the blower fan wouldn't have to work as hard and would be a lot quieter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great product in theory but doesn't live up to expectations I purchased this along with two H45 coolers to fit to my CPU and GPU, the CPU worked perfectly but the bracket couldn't hold the block of the H45 on to the chip firmly enough. The block was slightly loose so it could move side to side slightly despite my best efforts. It almost seems like corsair have tried to fix the problem of the bracket bending the card and have now gone too far the other way where the block isn't held firmly enough against the card to make proper contact. Also while trying to stop the block from moving I accidentally broke a thumb screw but luckily I had a spare.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waited a long time for this to find it doesnt fit very well!!! I waited a long time for Corsair to release this bracket for my GTX 980Ti, on installation I found it does not attach to the GPU PCB very well and once the cooler is added the PCB was bent, which concerned me. Decided to remove and stick with the OE cooler!!

Questions & Answers

MSI 980ti gpu

would this work with msi 980ti ? or only reference gpus? and is the blower fan included?
Asked by: TomaShen
Blower fan is included but it's only designed for reference PCB's. Have a look on the Corsair website, they have a comprehensive list of compatible graphics cards along with the SKU's. That said, if you see my review above you'll see that even when you have a compatible graphics card it still doesn't fit very well
