What’s the most important part of your PC system? Its processor? The mainboard? Maybe the power supply? You’d only have a case if you thought it’s the PSU. That cornerstone of a PC system is the most important part of the PC system as concerns what’s in the chassis, which might surprise you, but it’s definitely the devices you use to interact with a PC which are absolutely top dog.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good mouse let down by (still) poor software This is the second Scimitar RGB I've bought, the first just before Christmas last year when they first came out. And unfortunately its still plagued by the issues on the software side in CUE which Corsair still haven't fixed. This mouse must have cost Corsair dearly as its never really worked like it was intended. CUE 2 is now in open beta, perhaps they can finally lay this problem to rest. The amount of issues with CUE on their forums though doesn't install you with confidence. Perhaps its time they quietly took CUE round a corner and put it down like an injured horse beyond help. Its a shame really because the mouse itself is a lovely piece of kit and is great for the short periods of time it actually works. As such, I would be doing people a disservice by recommending this effectively broken product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, responsive mouse with superb build quality and features! Awesome mouse, very comfortable to use even for my large hands. Very responsive and has a very cool, adjustable side keypad with 12 fully programmable buttons. This can be adjusted and tightened with the supplied metal thingy, screwdirver wotsit. Sadly that can't be stored on the mouse itself but I really don't consider it a problem at all. The keypad buttons feel good with a satisfying soft click. The large, grippy middle mouse wheel and button is just awesome, the best I've ever used on a mouse. Great for games and any software really. RGB lighting looks cool with 5 separate zones with different modes and a full 16.8 million colours to play with using the CUE software. It glides well on all the surfaces I've tested so far. The mouse has a high quality, soft and flexible braided USB cable. The Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) seems to get quite a bad rep but fortunately I'm getting on well with it. It's easy to use and a lot of fun to play around with the lighting and profiles. I was concerned at first that I may be accidentally pressing the keypad buttons as I was gaming but this hasn't been the case. This was a surprise to me particularly with pretty intense deathmatch sessions in DOOM. The mouse obviously shines with games like Black Desert Online, being able to run macros and remap the buttons to whatever you want. In conclusion, a very robust, feature packed and accurate mouse that's not only good for MMO's but any game in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gives Naga a run for it's money. I like the smooth finish of the mouse. To me if feels lighter than the Razer Naga Epic Chroma Software is not great but easy to use. Looks much better in all black. Side buttons are distinguishable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice, but software issues a small let down. My Razer Naga started to give up on me, I've had my eye on this mouse for a while so decided to give this a go. Build quality wise it feels a lot more solid than the naga, which in my opinion felt a bit creaky and not as well put together, but this is built really solid and is very nice to hold. The side of the mouse has a nice textured grip for both your ring and pinky finger. The side buttons are mechanical like the Naga and have a nice responsive click when pressed. they don't stick out as much as the Naga and feel more like a mechanical Logitech G600, but I got used to this quickly. The rows of buttons alternate between smooth and textured so it's easier to tell where you are on the mouse, something which the Naga lacked. The movement is very smooth and I've had no issues with the mouse cursor snapping or jerking. again an issue I sometimes had with the naga. The Corsair Logo, side buttons, mouse wheel and a grill on the front of the mouse are all RGB with countless colours to choose from, so if co-ordinating with your other peripherals is important to you then this mouse has you covered. It also has different settings such as pulse, rainbow, colour shift and solid colour. The only criticism I have of this mouse is that the software (Corsair utility engine) is a lot more complex and harder to use than Razer synapse but after exploring it a little bit I figured it out with little issues. Currently I give this 4 stars as currently there is a problem where a windows update will cause your side buttons to stop working. Resulting in you needing to reinstall and reprogram your side buttons, Corsair are aware of the issue and are working on a fix so hopefully by the time you are reading this review it will be a thing of the past. But it's quite an annoyance. If the problem didn't exist, I would give this 5 starts without hesitation.
