Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everything but the bracket (for AMD) A good, somewhat versatile cooler design, given one could easily grab another fan to double the cooling on it. Its a solid heatsink so nothing fancy here, but pretty affordable all things considered. There is, however, something of a flaw here, and I'm not sure who bears more of the responsibility - AMD, or Cooler Master themselves. See, Intel has it pretty nice and simple, where you can screw the heatsink in after placing it down. For AMD? You have to put in a loose, oddly shaped bracket beneath the heatsink, to then latch it onto part of the motherboard and then hold it in place via a lever mechanism that can end up awkwardly placed depending on what way you decided the fan should go. Its just a baffling design choice in an otherwise good product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality affordable cooling solution Very imprest with the build quality.Bought this to cool my i5 6600k dose an excellent job with no over clocking. Simple installation and at idle and on a warm day running at 39 C this doesn't go above 65-70 C in real use. With over clocking at 4.2 ghz handles well but I'm no serious gamer fan can get a little noisy pass 70%,but otherwise very quiet. If Over clocking is your thing then a large cooler is needed.

does this cooler fit inside a small form factor case ?

I have a fractical design core 1000 case which I bought of you about a week ago and I want to put a after market cooler inside it so this cooler looked great but I am not sure it will fit due to it being a large cooler. I have a micro atx board and a colossus micro-atx case and it fits fine, one thing is that i wont be able to get a second fan on the cooler as it will hit the RAM as i have all four slots loaded up. I am using a Z97-G43m motherboard micro-atx.

Does this cooler come with thermal paste?

Pre-applied or in a tube I don't really mind I was just wondering because I don't really want to buy any if i don't have to as I'm on a really tight budget. (I know its only £6 for a tube of the best stuff but I'd rather not if I don't have to.)

Am4 Compatable

i have looked at many am4 compatible coolers but all need an extra adapter. does this one come with the adapter or not? or does it not need one.

It doesn't come with AM4 adapter. I had to send mine back for a refund as it specifically didn't come with an AM4 socket adapter.

Can it cool a FX 9370?

I understand that this cooler will not keep this beast of a processor cool, however will it be suitable until I am able to purchase a H110i Gt as I am currently only able to afford the processor and motherboard and I already have this cooler in my current system so will I be able to use it in the mean time? Thanks.

I think so it has dropped my temps by 20 oC and i have an i7-4790k which i am overclocking to 5 Ghz and the temps never go above 80 oC, without this i was unable to overclock as the system kept shutting down as the temps would rocket to 100 plus.

I have a i5 4690k and I was wondering if the CPU cooler would be enough to overclock it decently and if its not can I have some suggestions? thanks The max height of the cooler is 148.5 mm

yes, i have an i7-4790k and thius cooler has dropped my temps by 20 oC on average when overclocking. The chip never goes above 80 oC even when i have it running at over 5Ghz
