Chassis Airflow

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Incredible! Delivery was super fast and packaged terrifically keeping the product safe and packaged well. The product itself was easy to install and worked first time, it's cool, it's quiet, it's just what I wanted. 21 March 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My i7-4790k was reaching temps of 100 plus but after i installed this they never go above 80, so this cooler has dropped my temps by on average 20 celsius. One thing that i did find hard was the installation - it has meant that the board has become a little bowed where the cooler is attached due to such a tight fit - i suppose this is necessary to get the best contact and conduct the heat efficiently however, when installing i was unsure as i kept thinking i was going to break my motherboard, due to this the installation took a very long time, next time i wont be so cautious. 10 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooler Purchased the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO CPU Cooler from Scan to replace a stock cooler. CPU temperatures and fan noise has improved as to be expected. 07 October 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by it works the company was good, the product came in good time and the product is working well, no complaints 02 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cooler for the price I decided to replace the stock cooler as I am moving abroad and will be working where ambient temps can be as high as 40°C and use the PC for graphics work. It took longer to clean the old paste paste off the processor (on socket 1150 Core i5 4460), than fit this new cooler. No backplate required, uses the same type push in retainers as the stock Intel cooler. I used MX4 rather than the supplied CM paste. It has knocked 10°C off top temps when stress tested, and fan hardly moved from it's slowest speed so remained quiet throughout testing even with my case fans on low. I have noticed the difference in sound from the case - the absence of the Intel fan noise! Pros: Effective, quiet, cheap. Cons: The baseplate is'nt as smooth as some others so thermal paste may not spread as evenly, I used the spread method on the heatsink to fill the uneven surface, and temps are showing even across the cores 16 January 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very quiet and works great! i have been using this for about a week now, with my amd fx 4300 clocked at 4.5ghz. The cpu never goes over 50°C under load. So i highly recommend this cpu cooler to anyone that wants a reliable and quiet cpu cooler! 21 November 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Good Product At A Great Price The cooler was well packaged and arrived promptly (Thanks Scan) it can be a bit fiddly to fit i suggest trying it a couple of times outside your case before going for it. It can go in any orientation horizontal or Vertical Exhaust. I used this on a A10 6800k setting my cpu fan to silent in the mobo. It is silent and temps under prime 95 and kombustor never go over 58 C (dont know room temps but its summer with no windows open) Applying the thermal compound was a bit of a challenge as the base isn't completely flat. i would suggest applying some compound to the base to fill in the large gaps before installing it on the cpu in the normal way. I cant comment on the included TIM It does the Job 02 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Silent, cost effective, recomended Have one of these happily cooling a Sandybridge CPU. Easy to fit, nice and quiet, good temps. 03 February 2014

Answer:
I have a zalman z3, quite a small case, not as small as yours but i think this cooler should fit no problem, as your exhaust fan will be raides above the motherboard about the same as a cooler and the cooler uses 92m fans so should be on even footing.

Answer:
Hi there, this cooler will easily fit in the Core 1000. The size seems deceptive online, but it is small enough to fit in SFF cases such as the Core 1000 and even the mini ITX cases like the Node 304.

Answer:
Looks like it will fit but it will be tight. The heat pipes do stick up a bit but looking at the specs your case says it can handle CPU coolers up to 148 mm and on the box the cooler is 136mm high? i would say yes

Pre-applied or in a tube I don't really mind I was just wondering because I don't really want to buy any if i don't have to as I'm on a really tight budget. (I know its only £6 for a tube of the best stuff but I'd rather not if I don't have to.)

Can it cool a FX 9370?

I understand that this cooler will not keep this beast of a processor cool, however will it be suitable until I am able to purchase a H110i Gt as I am currently only able to afford the processor and motherboard and I already have this cooler in my current system so will I be able to use it in the mean time? Thanks.

Answer:
I think so it has dropped my temps by 20 oC and i have an i7-4790k which i am overclocking to 5 Ghz and the temps never go above 80 oC, without this i was unable to overclock as the system kept shutting down as the temps would rocket to 100 plus.
