Two custom five-inch speakers are loaded into a carefully designed wood cabinet, generating full sound with rich resonance typically only available with performance amplifiers.

Punchy, high-definition tones give you an inspiring platform for honing natural techniques that seamlessly translate to a stage amp setup. The tuned bass-reflex port further increases this amp’s versatility, ensuring a tight bottom-end response for low-tuned guitar riffs and electric bass practice.

12 hours of playing timeBOSS’s acclaimed digital wireless guitar technology is at the heart of Katana-Air EX, providing transparent sound and lightning-fast response without any lag or dropouts. The included transmitter offers up to 12 hours of playing time per charge, and the integrated motion sensor and standby function conserve energy when the system is idle.

This allows you to keep the transmitter plugged in between sessions and turn the system on just by picking up your instrument. When it’s time to charge, simply connect the transmitter to the amp’s convenient docking port.

Versatile Features for Practice, Recording, and PerformanceThe highly versatile Katana-Air EX flows with all your musical journeys. Built-in Bluetooth® lets you wirelessly edit sounds with the BOSS Tone Studio app and play along with songs streamed from your mobile device. For fresh inspiration, log onto BOSS Tone Exchange to explore sounds created by other users. You can also record tracks directly to computer music software via USB and use the stereo line output with mic’d cab emulation for live performances in direct-to-PA setups.
