Beyerdynamic - 'DT100'

tough / reliable / legendary
It's often said that following a nuclear disaster, there would probably only be cockroaches left, well, we'd probably say them and the Beyerdynamic DT-100! They are about the most solid headphone known to man and even one that the most heavy handed session player could not destroy (even when used as a percussion instrument).
They absolutely lack any form of 'Sick" sub bass and no-one would be seen dead in a pair on the street, but they have fairly good isolation and can be driven to very high volumes. Perfect for the vocalist who just wants "more me" so doubly good for tracking headphones if you live in a high crime area, or, have had sets walk in the past as these are completely un-desirable as it gets.
If you need a set of headphones capable of taking some heavy commercial punishment, that can push that extra volume for the vocalist who just wants to be louder, and look like a throwback to the communist era of the last century, then these are the headphones your studio needs!
