As a dual monitor, the Trio6 Be is the new reference point in its range, with extreme neutrality, precise stereophonic imaging, and the capabilities of resolving the finer sonic nuances.

The built in Class G amplifiers work for all musical styles with its SPL levels, making this monitor suitable for any style of mixing. The Trio6 Be works as a three-way speaker with a 1” tweeter, a 5” woofer, and an 8” subwoofer. It also features FOCUS mode, which reconfigures Trio6 Be and allows its to work as a two-way monitor, providing even more versatility.

Three-Way MonitorWhen used at its full potential, the Beryllium tweeter goes up to 40kHz and the 8” subwoofer pushed low frequencies as low as 35Hz. This gives engineers complete control of the audio signal. The 5” W composite sandwich cone woofer is built in an isolated chamber inside the cabinet, preventing the sympathetic activation of its other speakers while improving its acoustic performance.

Two front-facing ports deliver bass reflex, allowing the woofer to perform the same way in both two-way (90Hz – 2.5kHz) and three-way (250Hz – 2.5kHz) configurations. The 1” pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter gives you several advantages, including wide dispersion, incredible frequency response linearity, rapid dynamics, and unbeatable impulse response.

Two-Way MonitorWhen used as a two-way monitor, Trio6 Be uses just the 5” woofer and the tweeter, limiting frequencies to between 90Hz and 20kHz. This set up gives you the perfect compromise when checking the quality of the mix for playback set ups with less frequency response, like TVs, PCs, cars, and portable speaker systems for example.

The frequency response curve of the two-way configuration is the same but less extended, to its three-way curve, allowing for the ideal comparison that maintains the stereo image. Focusing on the crucial middle frequency range provides a good mix and allows the engineer to make sure that the levels are perfect. You can also use a footswitch (not included) to activate this set up remotely from the listening position.
