reinforcement applicationsART’s SCL2 is a brilliantly sophisticated and versatile dynamics processing unit designed for quick and simple operation and fantastic tone. The SCL2 us able to be tweaked to deliver anything from smooth subtle compression to hard limiting. Noise reduction is provided by a fast solid gate or a subtle expander.
The onboard Attack and Release functions enable the user to determine the general operating range and then auto adapt to the audio being processed, there’s also a full auto mode available too. The incredibly precise LED meters while the two LED meters show clearly the gain reduction for each channel.
