Voltage Control
The 4-Pin PWM Fan Splitter Cable also supports 3-Pin fans and connectors. In this case, speed is controlled via voltage and applied to all connected fans. As with 4-Pin PWM setups, the system reads the speed from the first fan while the fourth pin remains unused.
