Akasa SSD & HDD adapter fits 3.5" HDD or 2.5" Notebook drive into 5.25" PC bay is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It did a job, eventually I reckoned from the look of it that I could get a 2.5" SSD (underneath) and a 3.5" HDD (on top) mounted in a 5.25" drive bay at the top of a case where there was extra clearance at the top, but the screw holes aren't in the right place to be that versatile: This is designed for one device and that's it. What got in the way was that there's a raised 'plinth' with little domes where the screws for an SSD come in from below, and when I tried mounting the SSD underneath the edge of the 'plinth' made the SSD start to bend and the screw heads stuck up too far. Maybe I could have overcome that with washers, but I didn't have any to hand. On the other hand, it is nicely made and finished (for what is basically a bent piece of metal), and in the end I settled for just the SSD. Which I suppose is what the bracket is designed for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good, but... ...don't use it with a large Seagate Ironwolf - the screw positions on the bottom of the drive aren't in the same location as most drives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Secure and Universal Solution. Unlike other, cheaper adapters I have tried, this Akasa model holds your drive securely (whether it's a 2.5 or 3.5), with good anti-vibration features, and most importantly, fits every case I have tried it in. Don't waste your money on cheaper items, it's false economy. This may not be the cheapest solution, but it is easily the best.
