The SDP10 is a new generation of 5.25” to 3.5” drive bay bracket that is capable of accommodating two additional 2.5” hard drives or SSDs (9.5mm thickness) in addition to a 3.5” drive.If you are building a system in which additional hard drive space is required and there are free 5.25” drive bays, the SDP10 is a great choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy bit of hardware The first sample was bent out of shape on delivery, almost certainly in transit. This was quite an achievement as it's a sturdy bit of metalwork. An HDD in the same package also had to be returned. Replacement handled well by Scan, albeit a little slowly due to the Christmas rush and the fact that they were making a claim to DPD. I'll be using the UPS drop off service in future - works really well. It's a well finished, sturdy bit of metalwork - as Silverstone accessories generally are in my experience. All the holes were in the right place so fitting an HDD into a spare 5.25 slot was easy. The mass of the metal will also act as a heat sink to some extent. One very small niggle, which is probably unavoidable. The screws attaching the HDD are recessed under the fold of the metal and getting them in place was tricky. I don't have one of those screwdrivers which holds the screw in place so I used tweezers from the side until the thread engaged. Good value. Very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely finished + compact Excellent - easy to mount, multiple options, and feels like a well-made bit of kit. I'm using it to mount drives in the optical bay of an HP microserver, and it works very well.
