7" Powered Studio Monitor
ADAM Audio - 'T7V'
Active Vertical 2-way Nearfield MonitorADAM Audio’s range of wallet-friendly professional 2-way active studio monitors, the ‘T7V’ sports a 7” polypropylene low-frequency driver which boasts bass extension down to 39Hz to take care of the low frequencies, whilst the remarkable ‘U-ART’ accelerated-ribbon tweeter deliver sparkling highs all the way up to 25kHz – almost unheard of in monitors inhabiting this price range. The tweeter’s wide, uniform dispersion pattern is aided thanks to a precision waveguide modelled on the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide utilised in ADAM’s premium ‘S’ series studio monitors, which delivers a spectacularly broad sweet spot which liberates you from being constrained to a rigid listening position.
The T5V’s bevelled cabinet has a rear-firing bass reflex port attached to a solid metal backplate which houses the analogue input connection ports, DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalisation. The woofer’s 50W Class D amplifier, alongside the 20W Class D tweeter amp, allows a pair of T5V’s to reach a maximum SPL of 110dB at one meter away. The T5V’s extended frequency response, robust dynamic range, staggering transient response, wide sweet spot, and small footprint make the T5V a superb choice for use in small control rooms for music production, video post, and broadcast applications.
If you’re looking for a professional monitoring solution, whilst remaining on a budget, you must consider ADAM Audio’s T5V nearfield monitor.
• Vertical 2-way system with 1 x 7" polypropylene woofer and U-ART tweeter
• U-ART accelerated-ribbon tweeter with precision HPS waveguide
• Large rear-firing bass reflex port
• Highly efficient 70W Class D bi-amplification
• Linear frequency response of 39Hz–25kHz
• Maximum peak sound pressure per pair at 1m ≥ 110dB
• Analogue XLR and RCA inputs
7" Polypropylene LF Driver
optimized driver chassis/basket designThe drivers inside the T7V studio monitors are the result of years of in-house research and detailed development, and also take full advantage of the latest advancements in technology and materials science. The woofer of the T7V is designed to deliver optimised low-frequency reproduction with further dynamic range and 100% freedom from colouration. In utilises a rigid, yet low-mass polypropylene driver cone; a hugely efficient magnet assembly and precisely aligned voice coil; and an optimised driver chassis/basket design.
The T7V extends bass response down to an impressive 39Hz, to make the T7V a perfect choice for nearfield monitoring in small control rooms, with or without a subwoofer. However, if further low-end is required, ADAM Audio's Sub8 and Sub7 subwoofers pair perfectly with the T7V.
'U-ART' Accelerated-Ribbon Tweeter
up to 25kHzRather than producing sound via a piston-like diaphragm like the majority of speakers, ADAM Audio’s ‘U-ART’ accelerated-ribbon tweeter utilised a pleated diaphragm which limits distortion by pushing air 4x faster than the folds themselves are actually moving.
Engineered to the tightest tolerances, the U-ART tweeter packs ultra-low distortion and extends the frequency range up to a spectacular 25kHz, enriching the sound field with glistening detail and authentically conveying every nuance of the source material, meaning you’re free to work over extended periods, free from listening fatigue.
