Experience the True Power of DDR4 RAM

It was 2007 that the DDR3 standard was announced and in the years since then technology has only been pushed further. Eventually the memory standard was pushed to the edge of DDR3 limits, until DDR4 smashed through those limits! Corsair DDR4 doubled the bandwidth and dramatically increase clock speeds, whilst consuming less power than ever before.

Motherboard Socket DDR4 Optimization

Pin Out: 288

Vengeance LPX DDR4 form factor is optimized and compatibility-tested for the latest X99 and Intel 100 series motherboards, forging reliably fast performance. With any standard DDR4 DIMM memory socketed motherboard you shouldn’t have any trouble installing the powerful Vengeance LPX RAM and getting that DDR4 performance into your system.

Corsair DDR4 Memory Size

The clever and stylish, low-profile design of DDR4 LPX memory means it can fit comfortably into much smaller spaces. The LPX series of Vengeance DRAM was prepared for when the first of the Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards for DDR4 memory released. In any system that has minimal internal space the small form factor of the LPX DDR4 RAM from Corsair is ideal.

Unlock the Potential within DDR4

Corsair’s Vengeance LPX DDR4 has been built around high-performance overclocking. Each module from the LPX series utilizes highly-screened memory ICs and an eight-layer PCB, with further overclocking improvments through the efficient heat spreader that provides effective cooling. The eight-layer PCB system on these DDR4 memory sticks helps if your computer is trying to squeeze too much information into one layer, causing a significant rise in temperature which can create a multitude of issues.

Cooler Memory for Better Performance

The heat spreader on Corsair LPX DDR4 memory is made of pure aluminum, creating a faster heat dissipation and a cooler operation. Usually the overclocking overhead is limited by the operating temperature, but not for the Vengeance LPX. Due to the unique design of the heat spreader, the temperature is constantly lowered as heat is pulled away from the ICs and into your system’s cooling path. Not only does the heat spreader allow Vengeance LPX to perform better, but the aggressive yet refined form factor looks great in any system.

Utilize XMP for Overclocking in Seconds

XMP 2.0 is supported by Vengeance LPX DRAM along with Intel 100 and X99 motherboards. Simply select XMP mode in the BIOS and it will automatically adjust to the fastest safe speed for the Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX. You’ll get amazing, reliable performance without lockups or other strange behavior. Enjoy trouble-free, automatic overclocking in seconds with the support of XMP 2.0.

8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-21300 (2666), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 16-18-18-35, XMP 2.0, 1.2V is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent memory & very good value for money... I bought this memory kit to increase my RAM from 8gb's to 16gb's. I used this memory type originally when I built my system a year or so ago (mostly all parts purchased from Scan). It's is fitted to an MSI B450-A-Pro full ATX main board. Yeah, I know it's a good board that is being under utilised at present but the idea was to add to it and expand it's capability over time so my budget would not suffer too much. 8gb's was fine for normal everyday use but with extra workload of late & the need to use the machine for more memory intense activity 8gb's was struggling...not surprisingly! Since fitting the extra 8gb's my machine flies even faster, the difference is very noticeable. Worthy of note too is that this memory is not a complete & total match with my original memory. The part numbers are different to the original sticks that I bought as those are no longer available. However, after careful scrutinisation I can find no technical difference & believe it is just the fact the pair I have is not a matched pair. In all the testing that I have carried out since fitting them, the performance is incredible with no price being paid for any slight mismatch. In fact my testing has found no mismatch present. All memory is running at the manufacturers advertised speed of 2666mhz, and this was straight out the box. Some memory requires fiddling with to get this but not these Corsair sticks. Unless you are an avid very very high end gamer 2666 is pretty much the sweet spot for memory. My machine is pretty good at game playing but of course it's about lots of other things too that makes good gaming happen. All in all, it's brilliant memory and Corsair has a very good reputation for producing reliable stuff. I've used it in lots of machines without ever encountering issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All good - Apart from the classic that we're all aware of regarding RAM price at the moment.. Completely fine.. out of the box these were running way under clock, MSI Tomahawk bios was easy enough to instantly hit them to full clock speed (Auto Feature) - good aesthetics when paired with other blackout hardware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Problems so far The product looks good with a sleek minimalist design to compliment the Corsair logo. Works well so far, no issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not much to say, it works I am not an overclocker, I set the modules to their rated speed - 2666 (still wonder why this does not happen automatically) and that's it. Corsair is a guarantee when it comes to storage and memory.

Ram for IMac

Hi, I have a 2019 3.7ghz IMac, will the ram below be suitable? Thanks Andy Corsair 8GB DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2666MHz Memory Kit
Asked by: andyb1234
To be sure you should check your motherboard manual and see also what existing memory you have fitted. If it is just replacement for what's already fitted, and as long as it it of the same type needed (but either the same speed, faster or slower), I see no reason why not. But check your manual. If you don't have one, go to the manufacturers site and download one. It tells you exactly what to use.
