Operating at speeds of up to 400Mbps, the Dynamode 3 port Firewire card is the ideal expansion card for connecting external high bandwidth devices such as; digital cameras, personal audio players, hard disks and camcorders.

Comes with a disc to install some obsolete video software but you don't need it, as I say it's practically plug and play and fits fine into a secondary PCIe slot on my modern Ryzen motherboard. It also comes with a firewire 4 pin to 6 pin cable to get started.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great controller for the price. I needed a new firewire card, after a motherboard upgrade left me without a firewire connection for my external audio interface. As I only have a small "project studio" at home it seemed to be good value at the price. However, I soon realised this card was giving me better results, at higher bandwidths, than the original onboard connection my old motherboard gave me. This card is without doubt, one of the best controller cards I have ever bought.

Does this card have a low profile bracket for SFF PCs?

The attached/related 'Star Tech' product states it has a low profile bracket which we would require for our SFF PCs. Does this 'Dynamode' product also have a half height bracket?
