The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.

Does this pack come with long screws and short stubby screws?

Does the fan come with the screw that you use to attach it to the back of the pc?

Are these compatable with the thermaltake v200 case that you sell?

i recently purchased a thermaltake v200 case with psu from you. Im now looking for 3 rgb fans to go inside. 1 rear exhaust and 2 on the top. Are these fans compatable with the case/builtin fan controller? I would like all 6 fans to be the same colours etc... Can you recommend these or others to me and also would i need another fan controller or hub? what else would i need? I stupidly purchased 3 fans but they are 3 pin 5v ones. My motherboard is the Asus Prime B450-A.It onlt has one 4 pin rgb header on. Ive got these installed for now but i cannot control speeds or colours. I have been looking at the DEEPCOOL RGB Convertor, 5V ADD-RGB to 12V RGB Transfer Hub, Motherboard with 12V 4-pin Header can Contorl 5V ADD-RGB Products but you do not sell it. I think this may be one way round my dillema. or 3 new fans :) regards Matthew Wall

you can daisy chain thermaltake water fans, I had mine chained with aio fans, so I have three fans on aio and three as intakes on bottom and they are all controlled by same controller, also all three fans can be daisy chanined to single 4 pin fan header on mobo, it has enough amperes and voltage to run all three without issues as long as you get extra SATA for power
