Nvidia rolls out yet another 7-series GPU today, making hay while arch-rival AMD wrestles with what to do next. This new card is the GeForce GTX 760 and it takes many design cues from the presently-available GTX 670 and GTX 660 Ti GPUs

Software developers maximise profits by producing popular computer games for consoles and the PC. It is relatively straightforward to optimise games for consoles because the specification is fixed; the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 have been around for more than six years and developers understand how to tease the most out of the underlying hardware.

If you’re the least bit interested in graphics cards, we’re sure that you’ve heard the terms SLI and CrossFire bandied about recently. Touted as a means of achieving maximum 3D performance by, effectively, using two or more graphics cards in tandem, multi-GPU technology is here to stay. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look SLI and CrossFire; the two competing multi-GPU solutions from NVIDIA and ATI Technologies, respectively.

2GB EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked ACX, 28nm, PCIe 3.0 (x16), 6008MHz GDDR5, GPU 1072MHz, Boost 1137MHz, Cores 1152 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value for money! I've bought this card a month back. It is absolutely amazing, running most games maxed out without a glitch although I prefer lowering some settings down just to get the 60fps for example bf4 runs on ultra 60fps but resolution scaling is at 100%. If you are thinking of upgrading your pc in the future you are probably better off getting the gtx780 and sli in a few years. As I've said this is great value for money but if I were to buy a graphics card again id go for 780 with the intention of getting the second one when games stop running so smoothly. I just hope 2 760s will keep up with the massive amount of work which will be required in future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really good at 1080p If I run it on folding it will crash every time so I am guessing it was not tested very well. Otherwise its great and I don't normally fold so it doesn't bother me too much. I have bought EVGA graphics cards for a while now. One has been running for 3 years without being switched off and cant see why this would be less reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome graphics Using this with an i5-4670k to play BF4 at the moment and most of the settings are set to ultra and it looks brilliant. No issues to report. Temps wise it hasn't gone any higher than 40c even after gaming for an hour or so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Card & Great Delivery I ordered the card on a Friday and it reached my door on Monday around midday, the delivery service is great and there was no damage done to the box or the card. With this in mind I'd definitely order from scan again. The card itself was good quality also, the performance in relativity to the price was excellent and almost unbeatable. it's a good card for those relatively strapped for cash who want to play recent games on medium to high settings. however it doesn't quite make the cut for ultra in most games but nonetheless for the price it was excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great card for 1080p gaming at the £200 range. What is to say about this card that you don't already know? It is EVGA's factory overclocked (hence Superclocked) GTX 760, with EVGA's own ACX cooler. The ACX cooler is quite amazing. This cooler is more or less the same on the 770s and 780s, so you can imagine it will have no trouble cooling a GK104 GTX 760. It is not loud unless the fans are close to full, which it never has to spin that fast to keep the card cool. My card never tops above 72C degrees under FurMark load, so you know it will not be the temperature that will be limiting you overclock. Keep in mind too, that the overclockability of your card WILL have been used slightly already by the factory overclock, so don't expect amazing OC amounts. That being said, it is already a great performing card right out of the box. The PCB and MOSFETs do get quite hot though, but it is nothing to worry about. With the correct VSync settings, this card can max pretty much most games (sans BF4 and obviously Crysis 3) at 1080p while keeping a stable 60FPS. If you want overkill and want 120FPS constant, you may want to look elsewhere. Keep in mind, a modern game (let's say BioShock Infinite and Splinter Cell Blacklist) only works the card to about 60% or 70% GPU load with Vsync on at 60fps, so this card has still got some grunt to go. Physical quality of the card is also top-notch, and it looks great. No silly colours here or there. Keep in mind - as this is an honest review - there are EVGA 760s w/ ACX that suffers from coil whine/buzzing coils. This is in NO WAY bad for the card, and the noise is NOT grinding or annoying. But it is definitely there, and should be mentioned. Reasons for that I (along with many others online) haven't RMAed it back to EVGA is that I do now want to lose out on shipping on an issue that is NOT affecting the performance, and take a risk getting a DOA card. All in all, a great card for the budget gamer with not much compromise, and the cooling solution is top notch in both aesthetics and performance. Would recommend. Will answer questions to the best of my abilities if they should arise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but pushed to the limits on full hd Great card and competitve price. The card uses 100% at full HD with modern games so expect heat unless you have good airflow which you should really have. Runs most things on ultra no problem! Dont expect to run bf4 on ultra withut fps problems on populated servers. Also dont consider overclocking. Fantastic to SLI too. Out performs the titan on certain games. Check reviews. Recommended.
