EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM

The EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM is a universal custom water-cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution designed to mount directly to standard 140mm fan patterns inside a chassis, provided sufficient clearance is available. Unlike traditional distribution plates with fixed internal channels, this unit features an open internal structure that allows users to define their own coolant pathways within the body of the distro itself, effectively turning it into a configurable routing hub for advanced custom loops.

Universal 140mm Fan-Mount Distro Design

Designed around 280mm (2x140mm) mounting points, the Loophole can be installed in a wide range of cases, and with optional angled brackets it can also be positioned at 90 degrees to a 120mm or 140mm fan mount. As part of the QuantumX line, it targets experienced builders looking for unconventional loop layouts and full control over internal routing strategy.

34x G1/4" Ports with High-Capacity Reservoir

This all-in-one assembly integrates a reservoir, routing chamber, and a PWM-controlled D5 pump, while providing a total of 34 industry-standard G1/4" threaded ports. Internal connections are created using micro adapters, fittings, and tubing, allowing coolant to be routed from one port to another inside the distro body. There is 22mm of clearance between the thread surface and the inner lid, defining the available internal fitting height. The unit includes 32 G1/4" plugs, each supplied with a matching cover.

CNC-Machined Aluminum Frame and Pump Cover

With the pump installed, overall dimensions measure 140 × 87 × 294mm, and the reservoir offers an approximate 562ml capacity, making it suitable for complex multi-block, multi-radiator loops. The frame and dedicated D5 pump cover are CNC-machined from anodized aluminum, with the cover shaped to conceal cabling and present a clean installation through a dedicated routing cutout.

G3 PWM-Controlled D5 Pump Performance

At its core is a genuine D5 G3 (Generation 3) pump featuring an electronically commuted spherical motor. It operates at 12V DC with a 23W power draw, delivering up to 1500L/h maximum flow and a 3.9m pressure head. The pump supports coolant temperatures up to 60°C and is powered via SATA, with speed control handled through a standard 4-pin PWM fan connector. PWM regulation spans approximately 20–100% duty cycle, defaulting to full speed if no PWM signal is detected. Internal pump materials include stainless steel, PPS-GF40, EPDM O-rings, aluminum oxide, and hard coal.

EK-Matrix7 Compatible

The Loophole distro plate follows the EK-Matrix7 standard, aligning port spacing and positioning with other Matrix7-compatible components to simplify loop planning and maintain consistent geometry across CPU blocks, GPU blocks, active backplates, and radiators.

Included Hardware and Installation Kit

Included in the box are the complete Loophole Distroplate D5 PWM assembly with pre-installed pump cover, mounting hardware with screws, washers, and distancers, Allen keys, and a full set of G1/4" plugs with covers for unused ports.

1) Requires use of internal routing via micro fittings and adapters that are purchased separately.
2) The D5 pump is water lubricated and it must not be run dry; otherwise, permanent bearing damage can occur.
3) EK-QuantumX Loophole Distroplate is designed around Quantum Torque Micro fittings and adapters.
4) The aluminum oxide mentioned in the materials specification for the D5 pump is not exposed to water and is perfectly safe to run in copper/nickel loops.
