LG 25G590B-B.AEK UltraGear G5 Gaming Monitor
The LG UltraGear G5 25G590B-B.AEK is a 25-inch Full HD gaming monitor engineered for competitive FPS gaming and esports. Its native 1000Hz refresh rate at 1920 x 1080 delivers exceptionally fluid motion without sacrificing resolution, while an overclocked refresh rate of up to 1100Hz pushes performance further. Combined with a sub-1ms GtG response time and MBR Pro technology, it is designed to keep fast-moving targets clear and responsive during demanding gameplay.
An IPS panel with an ATW polariser provides consistent colour reproduction, supported by 99% sRGB colour coverage, VESA DisplayHDR 400 and HDR10 for vivid visuals and enhanced detail. NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync technologies help minimise screen tearing and stuttering, while DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 provide connectivity for high-refresh-rate gaming setups.
Native 1000Hz Refresh Rate for Competitive Gaming
Experience exceptionally smooth gameplay with a native 1000Hz refresh rate at the full 1920 x 1080 resolution. More frequent screen updates help keep fast-moving opponents and changing scenes visible with minimal delay, supporting precise tracking, quick target switching and responsive aiming. An overclocked mode pushes the refresh rate to 1100Hz for even greater motion fluidity.
Fast Response with MBR Pro
Designed to keep pace with rapid on-screen movement, the UltraGear G5 combines a sub-1ms GtG response time with MBR Pro technology. By controlling the backlight between frames, MBR Pro reduces persistence blur to help moving targets remain sharper and easier to follow during fast-paced matches.
Adaptive Sync for Smooth, Consistent Motion
NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync support help reduce screen tearing and stuttering by synchronising display updates with compatible graphics hardware. Variable refresh rate support helps maintain smooth gameplay as frame rates fluctuate, while Low Framerate Compensation (LFC) support with AMD FreeSync helps improve consistency when performance drops.
Vivid Colour with IPS and DisplayHDR 400
The IPS panel and ATW polariser deliver vivid, consistent colour from different viewing angles while helping reduce reflections. With 99% sRGB colour coverage, HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 400 support, the monitor is designed to reproduce vibrant game environments and reveal additional detail in bright and dark scenes. Deep Black Pro further enhances dark-scene contrast while preserving shadow detail.
Gaming Tools for Greater Precision
Dynamic Action Sync helps reduce input lag so you can react quickly to on-screen events, while Black Stabilizer improves visibility in dark areas where opponents may be hiding. A Crosshair overlay provides a fixed aiming point, and the FPS Counter lets you monitor frame rates during gameplay. Dedicated picture modes and a customisable user key with hotkey support make it easier to access preferred settings without navigating menus.
AI Picture and Sound Optimisation
AI Scene Optimisation automatically adjusts elements such as colour temperature, image enhancement and sharpness according to the content on screen. AI Sound processing helps distinguish voices, sound effects and ambient audio, making team communications clearer and helping important gameplay sounds stand out. A four-pole headphone output supports a headset connection for a more focused gaming experience.
Flexible Setup with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1
DisplayPort 2.1 provides the high-bandwidth connectivity required for the monitor's demanding refresh-rate capabilities, while HDMI 2.1 supports connections to compatible gaming systems and secondary devices. Desktop software provides access to monitor settings, layouts and calibration, helping simplify configuration without relying entirely on the on-screen display.
Adjustable Design for Competitive Setups
The UltraGear G5 features a stand base that is 49% smaller, freeing up more desk space for mouse movements and gaming peripherals. Full adjustability allows you to fine-tune the screen position for your preferred setup, while tool-free assembly simplifies installation. The monitor can also be mounted on a compatible monitor arm for a cleaner, more space-efficient desk. UltraGear lighting and a Purple Gray finish complete its gaming-focused design.
