PERFECT FOR LAPTOPS, DESKTOPS AND MOBILE DEVICES The SSD 660p hits the marks that matter for client SSDs. This drive is tuned to deliver capacity optimised NVMe performance as an intelligent storage option for mainstream & entry-level computing. Available in 512GB, 1TB, & 2TB capacities at affordable price-points.

PCIe Performance at an Affordable Price

Intel 660p SSD

twice the Capacity in Identical Footprints Empowered by Intel’s innovative Intel QLC technology, the Intel® SSD 660p offers higher capacities at a lower cost than TLC-based options.2 With PCIe*, the new SSD 660p skips SATA and its limitations to offer up to 2TB in one drive. These client SSDs pack more data than TLC-based storage, allowing up to 2x more capacity in identical footprints. The thin M.2 80mm form factor makes it perfect for notebooks, desktops, and mobile devices that need computing storage. The architecture of Intel QLC technology in the SSD 660p is made to intelligently boost performance. QLC and SLC “spans” on the drive adjust bi-directionally based on used capacity for the life of the product. Increases in capacity usage trigger the SLC span to decrease, and decreases in capacity usage trigger the SLC span to increase.

Robust and Lasting Data Integrity

The arrival of the solid-state drive (SSD) has revolutionised the speed at which modern PCs perform common tasks. This is because SSDs have no moving parts, compared to larger, bulkier mechanical drives, thus they store information on memory chips. This means that accesses, reads and writes are many, many times faster

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value & free delivery I have just updated my 'C' drive with this, with a full clean install all round. I have used the old 512Gb drive as a data drive. All now versy speedy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its a hard disk Its just like my old one but bigger. It was also the cheapest at the time for its size but it works just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mid-range nvme at a fairer price, with pro's and con's pro's: low energy consumption con's: lower read write speed than some major brand. summary: these read write speeds are only relative to an individuals machine, you may find getting a faster nvme may not make much difference if any on your machine. this would suffice for most home machine's mid-range gaming machines too! some have said they had difficulty with them being recognized upon first use... if you have this problem , loading the windows 10 installation disc to get it formatted can help get the bios to recognize it. this is my 2nd intel 660p nvme drive , the first a 128gb ive had for a year has been totally reliable and makes booting your p.c up a pleasure, hence I got the 1tg version for my main mid-range gaming p.c, I am happy enough with this trusted brand with a reasonable warranty period.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Issues after issues with this ssd After owning this for 6 months I've had issues with it since day one, corrupting boot files all the time, not wanting to load, not being recognised in bios one min and the next it is. so far today alone its done it twice. Now being forced to reinstall today its the final straw for me replacing with a different ssd/brand, stay away if you want trouble free experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Great value at £106 for 1tb of fast SSD storage. It was a pain in the butt to install and get Windows on but I was new to this tech and did not realise it would be so different to standard hard drive and sdd installations so some of that is my lack of experience. I got there in the end but I had to research and tweak a lot of bios settings in order to get Windows 10 to finally install on it. Once that was sorted, all is fine. I don't really feel like it's faster boot wise than the SSD I already had but I don't regret buying it but this is probably overkill for my needs. I think a standard Sata SSD does me fine to be honest, and much less hassle.

does this fit into a thinkpad T570 please

Asked by: KingdomVince
Hi, Yes, this should fit. Please be aware that two of the m.2 drives are TLC only and this is not a TLC drive. Also, please be aware that opening your laptop could void your warranty, I would double check with the manufacturer. Kind regards,
