The FF141 has embedded magnet in its frame so it can be effortlessly attached to any steel chassis without tools. Its 140mm size is also compatible with most 120mm fan vents so it can be used in many places that require filtering. Bought a few of these from Scan, they are good quality and look perfectly ok over case fan openings.they also have small magnets on the underside for quick and easy removal. I've had a few purchases from Scan now, and highly recommend to anyone needing hardware for a PC project.

I've had these filters a few weeks now, and already I've cleaned an appreciable amount of dust from them, which will hopefully keep my PC in top condition for longer. They have magnetic frames that attach them gently to the side of your PC tower, and come with screws, presumably so that you can fit them into a frame or cabinet that is non magnetic. My one and only issue is that they are not available in more sizes, I have one vent that is slightly smaller than 140mm, which is fine, but I also have two vents that are less than 50mm, and they are too far apart to be covered by a 140mm filter, a 140mm filter for such a small opening is overkill, two 140mm will fit over the small vents, but smaller ones would be a bit neater. Perhaps Scan could source and assemble a complete PC kit of vent filters?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blocks Dust It's a fan filter; it stops dust collecting in your system. If you have intake fans, you should cover them with this. It's magnetic too, so any case should be serviceable with these filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great filtration, easy to use These fan filters have a fine mesh that has great filtration properties without restricting air flow. The magnetic mounts are great, enabling you to take the fan filter off for regular cleaning. If you wish to mount it with screws however, there are holes, and the filter comes with 4 fan screws just in case. Look no further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Filters yer air ;) Does the job as intended, catches lots of dust and fluff, magnets are strong enough enough to hold them in place on a side panel (even when removing the panel from the pc they still didn't fall off), run a hoover nozzle over them to clean them. Job done :) Here is a pic of them in place on my Corsair Carbide 300R case
