Got 3 of these fitted on silent wings 3 inlet fans and after not so long they are turning grey indicating that they do indeed work at grabbing dust, not much more I can say other than they have a good seal at the case and fan so nothing can sneak past although I had to reverse them; I guess it depends on the case opening which way you can place them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made, and look good Have 3 of these installed with 140mm silent wings 3 fans and they don't really hamper the airflow as much as I thought they might but I have removed the case front now that I have these and temps are way lower all round now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aproved! These are my fav grills. Used them in couple builds already. No more nasty dust inside the case, also very nice looking. Very thin frame will allow you to use rubber mounting for your fans without any problems which is big problem with many other brands I tried before.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fine, but doesn't catch much dust! These guards are fine - reasonably well made, and although the mesh is variable in terms of the gaps it leaves, they seem fairly sturdy. They're a bit fiddly to fit in that you have to unmount and remount fans to fit them. My main observation, though, is that they don't catch a huge amount of dust compared to the fabric-based filter options. They're not expensive, however, and they're lower-profile than a fabric option - but I haven't been jumping up and down with excitement about them.
