Product Overview

FN12A-C8I-R 120mm Infinity ARGB Black

GameMax FN12A-C8I-R, a new series to the GameMax family, provides a specific air-cooling solution.
Perfect for optimal balance and the ultimate cooling performance, the reverse fan blade design is used for installation on the PSU shroud or bottom of the case.
With 24 addressable ARGB LEDs guarantees the most dynamic display of colour for your chassis and generates high pressure airflow. With outstanding attributes, the FN12A-C8I-R incorporates hydraulic bearing, crafted to the highest standard ensuring strength and stability.
The combination of aesthetics and technology on show work together simultaneously to cool your whole chassis and its components in silence.

Features

• Stunning FN12A-C8I-R: The luminous inner and outer ring design of the FN12A-C8I-R is impressive, from the infinity centre to the outer ring design and the small detailing on the side of the fan frame gives a stronger three-dimensional sense creating a unique visual effect.
• Uncompromised Performance: The GameMax FN12A-C8I-R designed with 9 fan blades continuously provides high air pressure and large air volume. The reverse blade is designed for being placed on the top of the PSU shroud or bottom to reach the best performance, offering a dynamic 2-way air movement for ventilation, allowing air to be pulled into or exhausted from a space to maintain optimal temperature conditions, FN12A-C8I-R will go far beyond the expectation.
• Infinity Mirror ARGB Fan: Stand out with the GameMax FN12A-C8I-R with a touch of infinity, the circular-shaped infinity mirror at the centre of the fan is created to have multiple layers spaced approximately 2mm apart. The multi-layer effect creates a mesmerising LED lighting display.
• Hydraulic Bearing: The fan is equipped with a long lasting durable hydraulic bearing motor ensures high speed operation, reduces wear, reduces noise and improves service life.
• PWM Fan Control: The fan can be connected to CPU fan interface on your chosen Motherboard to access temperature readings. The CPU temperature increases the fan automatically increases its speed and swiftly cools down and when the CPU temperature decreases the fan automatically slows reducing the overall noise.
• Motherboard Software: The ARGB lighting effects can be synced through the Motherboard which supports ARGB function, 5V 3-Pin Addressable RGB header, including ASUS AURA, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte Fusion 2.0 & ASRock. Customise the look with endless possibilities with 16.7 million static modes and 12 pre-set lighting effects.
• Anti-Vibration Pads: Eight silicone pads provide the KF300R with extra protection and helps absorb fan vibration and helps to keep the overall noise down to a minimum.
• Full Compatibility: The connectors included on the KF300R fan allow you to directly connect to a compatible Motherboard or connect to a fan controller with 4pin connections. The splitter cable also gives the user the option to daisy-chain allowing for fans to be directly connected so it minimises the demand of 4pin PWM and 3pin ARGB ports on your Motherboard and for cases with no fan controller or with a small number of ports. It shortens the cable lengths between the fans to improve cable management.
• Available In Two Versions: Perfectly match your set up you can choose to install a black or white KF300R fans to take your customisation to the next level.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
