Product Overview

CiT Solar 120 ARGB White PWM Fan

Give your PC a boost with the CiT Solar 120 ARGB PWM fan. Featuring twenty-two elegant and vibrant ARGB LEDs, offering a strong and stunning illumination with lighting that is subtle and smooth this fan is an attractive component.

Take your airflow and aesthetic to another level with this stylish fan coloured in white which will seamlessly blend into any lighter chassis with a speed ranging from 600-1800 RPM and airflow of 54.91 CFM. Daisy-chain multiple units via the ARGB fans male and female Aura connectors. As a PWM fan (Pulse-Width Modulation) it's rotation speed can be user controlled by connecting the fan to a compatible motherboard or a compatible controller - PWM allows the computer to control the fan speed depending on current temperature & workload, as well as letting the user set the current speed via software settings, allowing for seamless control of the cooling of your PC.

Pair with compatible Motherboard software and customise your 22 LEDs even further with 16.7 million colours and a wide array of vivid effects and patterns.

With exceptional attributes, the Solar fan frame and fan blades are crafted using only the best materials to ensure strength and stability and incorporating hydraulic bearing, extended fan life to 40,000 M.T.B.F.

Go under the radar with the Solar whether you are looking for performance or a polished aesthetic the Solar has you covered and enhances any build.

Features

• Elegant Lighting - The Solar is equipped with a total of twenty-two LEDs and the width of the light bar is 1.0mm, which presents seamless and delicate lighting for the chassis. This elegant, stylish & flawless looking hydraulic bearing fan produces up to 54.91 CFM of airflow, rotates between 600 - 1800 revolutions per minute and generates a static pressure of 1.71mm H2O at a maximum volume of 31.09 decibels. The Solar delivers high-performance cooling without excessive noise.
• Available in Two Colours & Two Orientations - Elevate your PC setup with the CiT Solar 120 ARGB PWM fan, available in black and white and with normal and reverse fan blades.
• Dazzling Fan Centre - Shining at all angles the centre of the Solar has been finished with a silver aluminium medallion surrounded by ARGB lighting for an aesthetic look in any orientation.
• PWM Fan Control - The fan can be connected to CPU fan interface on your chosen Motherboard to access temperature readings. The CPU temperature increases the fan automatically increases its speed and swiftly cools down and when the CPU temperature decreases the fan automatically slows reducing the overall noise.
• Motherboard Software - The ARGB lighting effects can be synced through your Motherboard’s ARGB software suite. Customise the look with endless possibilities with 16.7 million static modes and 12 pre-set lighting effects.
• Hydraulic Bearing - The fan is equipped with a long lasting durable hydraulic bearing motor ensures high speed operation, reduces wear, reduces noise and a longer lifespan of 40,000 M.T.B.F.
• Anti-Vibration Pads - Eight rubber pads provide the Solar with extra protection and helps absorb fan vibration and helps to keep the overall noise down to a minimum.
• Direct Connection - Skip the fan hubs and excessive cables by having the capability to daisy chain in sequence and control them all through a single PWM 4pin connector and +5V ARGB connector.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
