Rated 5 out of 5 by from cheaper than others online but works great No speed issues or data loss great build quality even better price you need more power at the far end if using to extend a usb powered optical or hard disk drive I would recommend connecting to a powered usb hub the connect drive as the active repeater uses some of the power to amplifier the signals

Extending DSLR USB 2.0 tether to iMac

Hello there, I need to be able to shoot tethered with my Nikon DSLR to my iMac. My existing Camera to USB 2.0 port cable is only 5metres in length - will this active boost 10m cable work with my existing 5m cable ? Thank you in advance for any advice that you may be able to offer. Kind Regards :-)

don't see why it should not do so, I am not a expert with any of this kind of equipment, it carries my required connection information, if it fits your equipment I don't think you will have a problem, you can only try it as the cable is not that expensive.
