Rated 5 out of 5 by from confirm Linux compatability no probs on Linux 4.4* - runs off built in kernel module in both OpenSuse, Ubuntu and Xenserver on Fujitsu Primergy RX100 and ...ahem...a Gigabyte G41 Core2 Quad ;). Also the mounting block is easily removable so u can install it (for testing anyway) on a half height slot

For use on aging Dell 580

Is this compatible with my aging Dell 580? Current integrated Ethernet port no longer works.

Good Morning, From what I can see this should work, although, we have not tested this ourselves so we would not be able to guarantee it would work. I would recommend speaking with Dell directly regarding this as they would be able to provide all the information for you. Kind Regards,
