We’re looking for an experienced, motivated individual to work within the Retail Sales division, selling a wide range of IT products to existing and new customers.

SMA Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding company. We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and driven team player to work in the Scan Managed Accounts (SMA) division, selling a wide range of IT products to existing clients as well as generate new business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for maintaining, strengthening and growing both current and new client relationships
  • - Manage a portfolio of diverse clients including pricing, stock availability and business optimization
  • - Develop client relationships over the phone and via email
  • - Conduct quarterly account reviews with all clients and execute on actions / opportunities
  • - Build proposals and quotes
  • - Support the SMA Team where necessary
  • - Achieve strong customer engagement
  • - Occasional cold calling
  • - Manage and enforce best practice account management discipline
  • - Increase product knowledge through personal research and ongoing internal training

Skills and Experience

  • - Experience in building and developing a diverse client base, selling IT or IT related products
  • - Must be comfortable interacting and engaging with high value customers
  • - Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • - Ability to identify opportunities and grow revenues
  • - Proactive, energetic and solution focused with an interest in the IT and Technology Industry
  • - High quality and professional communication skills
  • - Self-starter with strong prospecting ability
  • - High levels of effort, commitment and drive
  • - Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
