CPU - Intel Server

The CPU is the host processor of the server and these Intel processors are ready to be installed in the motherboard inside a server. There are many grades of Intel server CPU from entry-level models to high-end models. Make sure you select a compatible motherboard/server for your chosen CPU. 3XS Systems can custom build a server for you, please visit our server configurator for more information. Naturally, Scan is a premier Intel partner and retails the latest Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum processors ready to be deployed in a wide range of systems.

Intel Xeon Socket 3647 Cascade Lake SP Scalable Processors

This generation of Xeon server processors is based on the latest Cascade Lake architecture which features several key improvements such as hardware support for AVX-512 instructions, a new cache architecture plus a new high bandwidth 6-channel memory controller and additional PCI-E lanes compared to previous-generation Xeon processors. The range spans Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum models, steadily offering more cores, more frequency and more cache plus the ability to support up 8-CPUs in a server with select models. 02/04/19.

Intel Xeon E5 1600 v4 Socket 2011 Broadwell EP Processors

These Xeon E5 1600 v4 processors are Intel's latest and greatest efforts for the workstation and server market. The pricing reflects that, but so do the specifications. These CPUs have between four and 8 cores that use Intel's Broadwell EP architecture, and also support quad-channel DDR4 memory. Unlike the E5-2600 v4 CPUs which can be used in dual-processor set-ups for even more performance you can only install a single E5-1600 v4 processor per system.
