IceStorm cooling comes full force featuring enhancements fit for a king, so performance comes with style. This masterful combination of engineering prowess and fashionable style epitomizes AMP spirit.

Cooler, tougher and brighter. IceStorm continues to revolutionize cooling with brute force. Each IceStorm utilizes direct copper contact to draw heat directly away from the core, and thermal heat pads on all heat generating components to maximize cooling efficiency. The fusion of cooling technologies offers outstanding cooling performance that enables gamers to push ever forward.

Clever 1080Ti GPU Cooling

Cool & Silent GPU With FREEZE

FREEZE is the inspired innovation that enables your powerful card to become silent while reducing the wear and tear on the fan system. Greater system stability is achieved with precision temperature gauging and wider temperature tolerance. Fans will no longer stutter even when GPU temperature hovers at the threshold.

1080Ti for all Gamers

Stylish Gunmetal Grey Colour Scheme

Each AMPed card comes in the stylish gunmetal gray to blend in any color scheme. You can feel quality and durability with every touch, and it is finished with front armor detailing that underlines its aggressiveness. This is the inch-perfect super engine for your gaming system.

Controlled Power

Zotac Power Boost

POWERBOOST is a control chip that provides live electrical current regulation and instant electrical deviation responses. It reduces ripple noise and minimizes power fluctuation, resulting in a longer lasting AMPed graphics cards even in the most demanding situations. Even when pushed to the limit, it maintains smoothness and stability.

16+2 Power Phase

More power phases mean more turbines to generate the immense performance. Spreading the load to 16 power phases instead of the usual 10 means the horsepower is distributed evenly, meaning the card is a super car that purrs when operating at peak efficiency. All you will hear is unparalleled power radiating from the core.

Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme Edition 11GB GDDR5X VR Ready Graphics Card, 3584 Core, 1645MHz GPU, 1759MHz Boost is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great aftermarket cooler 1080ti As a lifelong EVGA man, I went for Zotac this time purely due to its availability being slightly earlier through retail. I didn't want to try some of the other aftermarket ones from Asus or Aorus that need you to enable a "OC mode" BIOS to get the highest out of box clocks as they necessitate installing their own proprietary softwares to access this BIOS. I disagree with hardware vendors finding ways to shoehorn awful software onto customers and will vote with my wallet every time to avoid it. WIth this Zotac there is none of this related to the cards performance at least, it comes with a very healthy factory overclock without the need for dual BIOS nonsense. The build quality is great and the cooler is absolutely superb. GPU core does not get above 64C (66C with my extra OC) and remains totally silent to my ears. A marked contrast to my previous generation reference cards from Nvidia, which always had a high pitched whistle from the (necessarily) increased fan curve that was often audible while playing with open backed headphones, and topped out at 80C. There is RGB lighting, which admittedly I'm not at all interested in, and you would need to install the awful, buggy Zotac software in order to configure it. Do yourself a favour and don't put that on your system and stick with the time-proven, stable MSI Afterburner for any further overclocking (unless you really need the RGB stuff). A downside to this card is that it is absolutely massive, weighs a ton, needs a large case with 3 pci-slots worth of space free, and good case airflow to prevent heat that the cooler kicks back into the case affecting your other components. As far as the weight goes, I ended up putting a cable tie around the far edge of the backplate and tieing it up to my case to prevent strain on the PCI slot, as simply screwing it into the case at one side as usual just didn't seem like it would be sufficient to take the weight (though there is a backplate giving the card rigidity, so technically I guess there can't really be any "droop"). Whether you decide if this would be necessary or not would be simply dependant on your own level of paranoia about such things. All 1080ti's seem to get more or less the same performance in games if you are happy to work the overclock yourself . This particular version is one of the coolest and the quietest and does most of the work for you out of the box (although I still ended up with it pushed a bit further) Whether you think this lower noise and temperature level is worth the extra over the founders editions or potentially other aftermarket ones which are currently a bit cheaper is entirely up to you to decide of course. I can't say I'm a fan of the Zotac "brand" as such, Their marketing is completely cheesy ("Ice Storm" Cooler? "ExoArmor" fan shroud !?? Corny "Powerboost" chips on the back of the card? Come on Zotac - most gamers building high-end systems aren't 13 years old!) they don't have a rich product history like EVGA or Asus and I have no experience with their Support or Customer Service. But as long as this card continues to perform well for the time I own it, I will be a happy customer and will consider them again next upgrade. If you have a big case with great airflow, and want the absolute coolest and quietest 1080ti card available. I believe this is one of the best options for you to shortlist. It loses a star for the poor Zotac software necessary to use all features of the product, and because it is currently slightly more expensive than it's main competitors.
