Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fully functional Does detect Bluetooth devices but can not connect to many types of devices. Can connect to speakers but can not pair with wireless controllers or mobile phones. Thereby making it functionally equivalent to an auxiliary cable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's probably fine but it does not work at all with linux It appears fine, it's visible on the usb bus, but I can't tell how well it works because it does not work at all with linux, so if you need that, be warned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blimey this is rubish! As summary above. Do not waste your money, I know it £3-£4 but in all honesty it should not even be listed on Scan. I bought two and neither really work. If Scan actually tested this product they would automatically unlist it.

I've also connected my smart phone and tablet to it for testing with no issues. Great price small in size, but brilliant on connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually Pretty Decent Was worried that this might not function well, as many cheap adapters don't. However, the item worked on installation and I haven't had a single issue using this with my mouse and keyboard. No random disconnects or shut offs. No complaints at all.

Is it backward compatible for bluetooth keyboards and mice?

Got it working with a mouse but not with the keyboard. Signal also drops on mouse from less than 1m away.

does this BT Dongle support Low Energy Peripheral Role

More specifically will it work with the "Your Phone" app to allow phone calls via your connected phone? If not, can you recommend one that will. Thanks

Only intermittently, do not advise purchasing. Would recommend a tp-link branded Bluetooth controller for this purpose although they are more expensive.
