41 Degrees of Freedom for Human-Like Movement
The Unitree G1 Edu Plus Ultimate E (U7) expands the G1 platform with 41 degrees of freedom, including a 3-DOF waist and 7-DOF arms. This increased articulation gives the humanoid greater freedom of movement across its body, supporting advanced locomotion, object manipulation and robotics research. With 120 N·m of knee torque and a 3 kg arm load capacity, the G1 Edu Plus Ultimate F is equipped for demanding physical development work.
BrainCo Revo 2 Touch Five-Finger Hands
At the end of each arm, the G1 Edu Plus Ultimate E features a pair of BrainCo Revo 2 Basic five-finger dexterous hands. These end effectors add tactile sensing for pressure, friction, direction and proximity, giving the robot richer information about physical contact with objects. This makes the U7 particularly suited to research into dexterous manipulation, grasping and human-robot interaction.
NVIDIA Jetson Orin AI Computing
The G1 Edu Plus Ultimate E is equipped with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing platform delivering up to 100 TOPS of AI performance, alongside an 8-core CPU. This onboard computing hardware provides the processing capability for advanced perception, control and AI development, while Python, C++ and ROS 2 SDK support gives developers the tools to create and test their own applications.
3D LiDAR and Depth Vision
For environmental perception, the U7 combines an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera with a LIVOX MID-360 3D LiDAR sensor. Together, these sensors provide detailed visual and spatial information for projects involving mapping, navigation, object recognition and autonomous interaction. Dual encoders on the joints also provide detailed feedback on joint position and movement.
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 Connectivity
Built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide wireless connectivity for development, communication and system updates. A supplied manual remote controller also gives users direct control over the G1, making it useful for demonstrations, testing and manually controlling the robot during development.
Two Hours of Continuous Operation
The G1 Edu Plus Ultimate E is supplied with a 9,000 mAh quick-release battery, providing approximately two hours of operation on a charge. The quick-release design also makes battery changes more practical during extended testing sessions and development work.
Built for Advanced Robotics Development
With its expanded 41-DOF body, tactile five-finger hands, Jetson Orin compute and multi-sensor perception system, the G1 Edu Plus Ultimate E (U7) is built as a development platform for education, robotics research and advanced manipulation projects. Full secondary development support gives researchers and developers access to the underlying platform for creating their own software, behaviours and robotic applications.
