The EDU Plus is powered by an 8-core CPU paired with an NVIDIA Orin AI platform delivering 100 TOPS of AI computing performance. Built for advanced robotics research, it supports secondary development, large AI models, embodied AI interaction and autonomous decision-making, providing a powerful platform for perception, navigation and intelligent autonomy.

Full-Coverage Perception

For maximum environmental awareness, the EDU Plus combines an industrial 64–128 line LiDAR, Livox MID-360 LiDAR with navigation algorithm support, an HD camera, and a depth camera for comprehensive perception. Together, these sensors enable precise mapping, obstacle detection, intelligent following and autonomous navigation in complex environments.

Powerful Mobility & Payload

With 12 degrees of freedom, approximately 90 N·m maximum joint torque, and a bionic motion system, the EDU Plus delivers agile, dynamic movement across demanding terrain. It reaches speeds of 0–3.7 m/s with a 5 m/s peak, climbs slopes of up to 40°, negotiates 25 cm stairs, supports a 65 kg standing payload, and continuously carries 15 kg while walking.

Extended Battery Life

A 648 Wh (15,000 mAh) high-capacity battery delivers more than 4 hours of runtime when unloaded, or over 2.5 hours while carrying a 15 kg payload, with a walking range of approximately 20 km unloaded or 13 km under load. A charging dock is included as standard, allowing convenient recharging between deployments.

Built for Challenging Environments

Designed for reliable operation indoors and outdoors, the EDU Plus features an IP54 rating and operates in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C. It remains capable across stairs, steep slopes and uneven terrain, making it well suited to inspection, research, autonomous navigation and industrial robotics applications.

Connected Development Platform

The EDU Plus supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for high-speed wireless connectivity and provides comprehensive support for secondary development through its open software platform. This allows researchers and developers to create, test and deploy custom algorithms, AI applications and autonomous behaviours with minimal barriers.
