Flexible Uplink & Connectivity
Equipped with (2) GbE RJ45 ports, the router supports both WAN over WiFi and Ethernet. Port forwarding and firewall functionality are included, ensuring granular network control wherever it is deployed.
WiFi 5 Performance
Two embedded WiFi antennas with 2 x 2 MIMO provide dual-band coverage across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with maximum transmit power of 13 dBm on both bands. Built on 802.11ac (WiFi 5), the router supports data rates from 6.5 Mbps up to 866.7 Mbps (VHT 20/40/80), giving you the bandwidth needed for encrypted VPN sessions, video calls, and large file transfers while travelling. It also supports 802.11n (up to 300 Mbps), alongside legacy 802.11g and 802.11b standards, ensuring compatibility with older devices often found in hotels, shared offices, or temporary workspaces.
1.14" Included Display
The integrated 1.14" status display delivers instant, on-device visibility of your network. It clearly indicates when the router is online, shows upstream WiFi signal strength with a live dBm reading, displays the connected SSID, and provides a real-time count of active client devices. The result is immediate confirmation of connection status and network activity directly from the unit itself.
VPN & Network Control
The UniFi Travel Router operates as a VPN client with support for both OpenVPN and WireGuard. Combined with firewall and port forwarding features, it enables secure remote access and controlled traffic management. Management is available via Ethernet and Bluetooth, offering straightforward configuration options.
Compact, Efficient Hardware
Weighing just 89g and housed in a polycarbonate enclosure, the device is built for portability. It features a 1.14" status display and a single factory reset button for simple operation. Maximum power consumption is 5W, powered via USB-C (5V/2A), with the adapter not included.
