Compact UniFi Protect NVR
The Ubiquiti Network Video Recorder Instant is a compact desktop NVR built for UniFi Protect deployments, combining recording, switching, and monitoring in a single enclosure. It supports up to (15) HD cameras, (8) 2K cameras, or (6) 4K cameras, alongside management for up to 50 access hubs, with full support for UniFi Protect and UniFi Access applications.
Included 6-Port PoE Switch
A built-in 6-port GbE PoE switch simplifies camera deployment, paired with a GbE RJ45 uplink port for network connectivity. The system also includes an HDMI Viewport output for direct video display, enabling on-site monitoring without additional hardware. PoE delivery operates within a 44–57V range, with a 40W total PoE budget and up to 15.4W per port.
3.5" HDD Support
Storage is handled via a single 3.5" HDD drive bay, with support for data protection and Vantage Point functionality. The drive bay operates with a maximum 11W power budget, ensuring efficient operation while maintaining reliable recording capacity.

At its core is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor running at 1.7 GHz, supported by 4 GB of memory. This hardware configuration enables consistent performance across video recording, access control, and system management tasks. Connectivity for management includes Ethernet and Bluetooth, along with a 1.14" integrated display for quick status visibility.
Made for Wall Mounting
The NVR supports wall mounting and DIN rail mounting, with mounting hardware included, making it suitable for compact or structured environments where space and accessibility matter.
