Its field of view spans H: 109.9°, V: 56.7°, Diagonal: 134.1°, giving broad coverage to reduce blind spots. For low-light conditions, built-in IR LEDs and an IR-cut filter enable night vision up to approximately 6m - sufficient for close-range monitoring such as front doors, hallways, or small gardens.

Beyond basic video recording, the G6 Instant incorporates an on-device AI engine (quad-core Arm Cortex-A53) to support smart detection of people, vehicles, and animals, as well as more advanced features like face recognition and license–plate recognition when paired with the appropriate backend. Two-way audio - via a built-in microphone and speaker - enables live communication or deterrence, valuable for entry-way monitoring or visitor interaction.

The G6 Instant is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure and carries an IPX5 rating, providing splash-resistance and suitability for sheltered outdoor use (e.g. under eaves or porches). Tamper resistance is addressed by an IK04 impact-resistant build. The included wall-mount accessory supports straightforward installation; its compact size and light weight make it easy to mount in many locations.

Simple Setup with Flexible Recording

The camera connects via Wi-Fi with optional Bluetooth, avoiding the need for Ethernet cabling - ideal for retrofit installs or areas without wired infrastructure. Power is delivered via the included USB-C adapter; maximum power consumption is 7W.
